Oh you want to see sticks do you!?!
OK then! Here we go... :)
These first ones are my OPK strips this cycle. These were the lightest and quick positive I had ever had. I was kind of worried I may have not Ovulated, but my temp did confirm that one maybe positive was indeed a real positive! You can't tell now because the strips are old since this picture was taken today, I wish I would have taken pictures in progression like I normaly do but with me having some type of Flu/UTI/Odd OPKs I really didn't think we were going to be in the running this cycle. I love surprises! Now the two of these on the top are my www.saveontests.com midstream test-I think they don't get enough credit-heck they just told me I'm preggers on 10 DPO! They were my last two I had brought from the states. The bottom one is my Thailand in Thai test! And then the pictures below are the dirrections! LOL I would love to keep POAS but it takes forever to translate the dirrections. All these pictures were taken today-so they aren't as clear as the day of the tests since they are old now.

I'm in a "delicate" state!
My grandma always says this when she finds out a women is pregnant! Turns out I am! I got those BEAUTIFULL two lines this morning at 10 DPO! They are faint-but they are there and thats what matters.
So Troy woke me up at 5:30am saying something about a spider in bed and I need to get up. So I figured-hey good time to test. I was half (or more) asleep. So I went in the bathroom and started my home pregnancy test and set my alarm on my cell phone brought the test and phone back to bed and feel asleep! LOL The alarm woke me up-I looked at the test and thought-thats nice....then feel back asleep again! HAHAHAHA However in my dream I told Troy. But then I kept having to tell him. It seemed so real to me. Then I kind of remember in my dream that I HAVEN'T told him and I wake up to tell him....but its about 10am and he is at work now. I can't believe I slept like that. So then I decided to tell him a different way.....So about 9 of us went out for dinner tonight (jeff/mia, tom/mam, Salley, Lakshmi, Alex, troy/I). I told the other roadwife Mia whats up and to make sure when troy was listening to point out that I (and turned out one other person) wasn't drinking liquor for dinner. I said "well I really shouldn't since I'm pregnant". Troy's head whips at me and he has this shocked look on his face and says "what?". I tell him I found out this morning. I think he started to tear up but then we were eating spicy curry so I'm not sure which made him do that!
Everyone said congrats and we chatted, turns out a couple other guys at the table have July birthday's so they were filling me in that baby would be a Cancer with Ruby birthstone---which is funny since Thailand's main jewel is rubies and I just got ruby earring when we got her!
Did I mention my estimated due date is July 27th, 2009. Thats right 14 days after his sister's due date! LOL
Then we came home a took our bump pictures (since I'm 4 weeks on the dot today I will not post th! Troy decided that he wants Boob progression photos also
so we are doing those also (covered of course!). We only told people here but don't plan to tell anyone else (not even best friends back home--can't remember if they have this blog link or not--guess I will see!), till after a ultrasound with a heartbeat....we will tell them at Christmas is kind of the plan (10ish weeks).
I wanted a first day picture, so I set up the camera for timer and this is what troy did! LOL Already talking to the little bean.![]()
Then here is our nice one for my future siggy online and hopeful baby album someday.

Mind games
My thermometer is acting weird so I decided to get a new one last night--this one only reads in Celsius so I have to convert it everyday (which I secretly love since it gives me one more thing to do in the TTC journey LOL). However when I took my temp this morning I had a BIG dip---I checked with my old thermometer also--it read the same, I THINK I slept with my mouth open so todays temp is a bust. But since I'm so close to Oing it makes me wonder. Also for the last two days (mon/today) I have had those annoying -MAYBE- positive tests for OPKs. And by maybe I mean the ones I KNOW are REAL positives but make me want to think they are, even though the little dark side line I got was way past the time you should be trying to read them. I charted them as positive on my FF chart---but you know what I need to take emotion out of it and look at them in a REAL light. Thats it I am changing them to negative NOW, because thats what they really are. I will not allow mind games in. Hopefully I get a real positive soon.
*off to change my chart*

Halloween!
Happy Halloween to my reader(s)!!!!!! So something spooky is happening here. My fever broke fast and I am feeling better! Today my cervix is high and soft and my CM is watery-probably eggwhite by tonight (only get watery maybe one day but it usually turns EW by night time so i guess I will see). I did take a OPK today and its a negative, but I forgot to hold my urine for 3 hours, so I will most likely do another one tonight. Having really been having sex for babydancing, but have been having sex every night (horny Thailand method take TWO!). Since today is Halloween and its my all time favorite holiday....I will assume if we do somehow manage to get preggers this month that it was a halloween baby!
BOO!

Auntflo or ovulation???
Yesterday my cervix was low and hard. My CM was sticky but also had a tinge of brown old blood in it (like when AF is starting). Today my cervix is high and soft and my CM is watery with a thread of bright blood in it (like when I O). I have some crampy feeling on my right pelvic side like possible ovulation cramps but it could be some AF cramps starting also, or just muscle pain from my new exercise program LOL. My OPK today is still in that- it could be positive/it could be negative shade (these things are kind of hard to read now). When I used them for normal cycles I never had any issue telling what they were. Must be some way the hCG interacts with them...oh well. I didn't temp sat/sun morning because I went to bed way to late and was drinking both nights so the temp wouldn't have been right anyway. But today's temp was down (which could mean O).
So lets do a poll.....who thinks I'm Oing or who thinks AF is coming? Both would be signs my body is going back to normal. Only difference is one means I could get pregnant 2 weeks earlier then the other LOL. So what is your vote?
We will just continue having sex and see what happens.

HPT day
Well I woke up and tested with a HPT again today. Its still positive :( It is a very very faint positive but still there. I looked up the sensitivity on them and they are 20 of hCG to be positive. I need under 5 for my body to restart. Ok well its only been 4 weeks...they said 4-6 weeks.....I sure hope its gone by 6 weeks. I would really like to be preggers by my 31st Birthday in Jan.

One more day
I manage to avoid testing today. I'm worried I will run out of tests before we leave Thailand, we just found out today we have been extended till December!!!!! Normally we like to travel more but with such a great crew here and such a great location....we don't really want to rush out. I was made a co-host of the traveling mommies board so I have been a little more involved in that now. I am trying to pull together all of my travel blogs from all over the web and put them in just one location that I created..... http://roadwife.blogspot.com/
I making plans for this weekend and having a BBQ with all 5 of the crews here. I have started my 100 push ups program this week. I am getting back on track for eating and exercising. I am learning how to use my camera better. I did some online shopping....got a panasonic point and shoot camera (the exact one I lost in Bangkok), plus a waterproof case for it. Then I also got a new lens for my SLR camera and a cleaning kit. I am also organizing all our travel photos--which is quit a feet! I have been pretty busy so its making the wait to start TTC again go by much faster! I plan on doing a HPT again this Friday and seeing how that comes out....hope its negative!

Good times
Troy and I and 4 friends all took a trip to Koh Samed Island this weekend. I was strong and didn't do an OPK test Friday or Saturday. I also couldn't temp on Sunday since I drank for 17hours on sat and didn't get home till 5am. But it was a relaxing time and it was just what I needed.
Got home tonight and decided to do OPK test. I got a negative buts a close one again :( Well this up coming Friday will be 4 weeks post D+C so hopefully my hormones go back to normal soon and I'm not in that group that takes forever.

Getting impatient
I'm still testing positive on my OPKs. I will do another HPT once I get two negative OPKs in a row (and ones that aren't close to positive I mean full flat out NEGATIVE). Its been three weeks tomorrow. I know it should take 4-6 weeks, but I'm just impatient. I'm trying to find anything to keep my mind off of it, I really need to stop peeing on testing strips! This weekend I have a trip planned to go to the island Koh Samet! (or ko samed depending on who you ask LOL). It should be fun and make the time fly by....but I know I will still be thinking about it.
I want to start TTC and I know I have to wait till these tests are negative before that cycle even can start, let alone get to the O phase when I have a shot. If it doesn't happen soon I know my brain will start worry about other crap. I wonder if there is anything I can do to physically get it out of my system quicker? Maybe going to the gym more (ok going at all LOL) and drinking tons of water?!? I should try that. Wouldn't kill me to do either anyhow. hehe
One other thing....sleep. I can't seem to fall asleep at all. I know I slept a ton while pregnant but man this staying awake is killing me. And when I do manage to sleep I am still having nightmares about dead babies trying to kill me, or giving birth to dead babies or someone trying to kill me.....anyone do dream analysis?! All of my dreams are two things...people trying to kill/hurt me or really erotic dreams that also tend to have some danger in them. Anyone want to tell me what that means?! I had them while I was pregnant also. Its weird, and I want them to go away. I tried watching happy/positive things before bed...that worked a couple time but overall not effective. Any suggestions are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

hCG and LH levels post D&C
Facts:
--HCG is a glycoprotein hormone secreted by developing placenta shortly after implantation. To have a positive HPT you must have 20mIU/mL hCG in your urine.
--Luteinizing Hormone is a glycoprotein hormone released by the pituitary gland, a small gland at the base of the brain. The hormone stimulates the ovaries to produce and release eggs each month during the menstrual cycle.
--The hCG level drops after the pregnancy tissue is removed during the D&C (or natural passing miscarriage) It must drop to zero before your cycles resume. Although the length of time it takes for this to occur depends predominantly on the value of hCG present before the miscarriage, hCG suppression of the pituitary gland usually subsides within two weeks. Once the hCG levels fall, your pituitary gland begins secreting the stimulatory hormones LH and FSH, and ovulation resumes. If the hCG levels were low at the time of the D&C, normal ovulation can return about two to three weeks after the D&C. Alternatively, if the fall in hCG is delayed, the first ovulation may occur three to six weeks later. As ovulation occurs two weeks before the menstrual period, you can, in fact, get pregnant before your first post-D&C menstrual period.
So what do these lovely facts tell me.....
If you have hCG in your system you will have a positive OPK (tests for LH). Because the way that the OPKs work...they actually are looking for presence of glycoprotein hormones. So my "positive" OPKs are nothing more then left over pregnancy hormones. I'm not ovulating yet. After getting one negative OPK this morning, but then another positive one tonight I knew my brain was kidding itself. I then took a HPT....yep still a faint (but THERE) positive. *cry* THIS SUCKS!

Game time!
This afternoon I got a SHW cervix and a + opk again! Troy and I have decided that we will keep TTC. Troy just wants less talking about TTC. ME talk to much about something---NEVER (insert sarcasm here).
So we got some 2am BD done last night and hopefully some more today...but it looks like we are back in the game. And I couldn't be happier! :)

3 Weeks 6 Days-First Body Pictures.
I am going to try to get find a tripod today so that my pictures will be at the same height and distance each week. But until then you will have to endure Troy's photo skills. I will be taking profile pictures on each side so you all can enjoy watching my tattoo stretch LOL.
Not yet a baby---here is info on my little Blastocyt---
Your pregnancy: 3 weeks
How your baby's growing: What's going on in your womb now? A lot. Your baby-in-the-making is just a tiny ball consisting of several hundred cells that are multiplying madly. Once the ball of cells (called a blastocyst) takes up residence in your uterus, the part of it that will develop into the placenta starts producing the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which tells your ovaries to stop releasing eggs and triggers increased production of estrogen and progesterone (which keep your uterus from shedding its lining — and its tiny passenger — and stimulates placental growth). HCG is the hormone that turns pregnancy tests positive; by the end of this week, you may be able to take one and get a positive result! (If your test is negative and you still haven't gotten your period in two or three days, try again then.)
Meanwhile, amniotic fluid is beginning to collect around your ball of cells in the cavity that will become the amniotic sac. This fluid will cushion your baby in the weeks and months ahead. Right now, your little blastocyst is receiving oxygen and nutrients (and discarding waste products) through a primitive circulation system made up of microscopic tunnels that connect your developing baby to the blood vessels in your uterine wall. The placenta won't be developed enough to take over this task until the end of next week.

Testing day!
Well I woke up this morning and did my daily temp--it spiked! So I decided to test. Yes I know I said last month I would wait till AF was missing-but she is due today and I have no signs of her so I am tested anyway. Good thing to since I am SO PREGNANT! Thats right I got a Big Fat Positive (BFP) today! And to make sure---I POAS two more times LOL. Troy was with me when we found out. We were laying in bed, I was staring at the test and it turned into two lines within the first minute! I said "congratulations daddy" to Troy and he responded "I'm not a daddy I just have two lines". Now for the weird part---I mean I see the test is positive but I am not like super excited. I don't know if its really kicked in yet. Guess it will feel real in a couple of weeks when my pants start getting tight.
We have decided not to tell anyone in real life (online only friends ok-JM GIRLS!) till the second trimester. So if your reading this please only comment here-DO NOT comment on my facebook/myspace/or other blogs Please!
Catch with not telling people till second trimester---Troy's sister Jenny is getting married on Sept 20th and we also decided that we didn't want to steal her thunder so we are not going to tell his family till AFTER the honeymoon. I would love to hear suggestions on how I should tell everyone. With my mom I plan to do a grandparents day gift (9/7/08). It will be the first grandchild on both sides of our families.
Oh you want pictures---well I may have a couple LOL
Here is my first one:
Here is my first one and my second one to double check!
And here is the close ups in case you can't see it above-

OPK time x2
Strange I got another positive OPK today WOW. I hope this doesn't mean I am going to ovulate a ton this month. Don't get me wrong twins would be ok but more than that and we are going to have to move our life around alot more.
Added later: Picture of my OPK progression for this cycle.

4th of July
Well like usual we get to a new place/location/hotel and we get more "in the mood" we have been doing the deed (DTD) everyday we could this cycle. Well last night I got a little drunk and so tonight I am hungover....going to have to skip tonight.
I have decided to throw the Shettle's method out the window. You probably guessed I would already. It not because I don't think there is some truth to it.....its more like I just don't want to stop DTD for a few days LOL. So we are going to try the HTM (horny Thailand method) this month were we just BD when we want!
