Well I woke up this morning and did my daily temp--it spiked! So I decided to test. Yes I know I said last month I would wait till AF was missing-but she is due today and I have no signs of her so I am tested anyway. Good thing to since I am SO PREGNANT! Thats right I got a Big Fat Positive (BFP) today! And to make sure---I POAS two more times LOL. Troy was with me when we found out. We were laying in bed, I was staring at the test and it turned into two lines within the first minute! I said "congratulations daddy" to Troy and he responded "I'm not a daddy I just have two lines". Now for the weird part---I mean I see the test is positive but I am not like super excited. I don't know if its really kicked in yet. Guess it will feel real in a couple of weeks when my pants start getting tight.
We have decided not to tell anyone in real life (online only friends ok-JM GIRLS!) till the second trimester. So if your reading this please only comment here-DO NOT comment on my facebook/myspace/or other blogs Please!
Catch with not telling people till second trimester---Troy's sister Jenny is getting married on Sept 20th and we also decided that we didn't want to steal her thunder so we are not going to tell his family till AFTER the honeymoon. I would love to hear suggestions on how I should tell everyone. With my mom I plan to do a grandparents day gift (9/7/08). It will be the first grandchild on both sides of our families.
