Lilypie Second Birthday tickers Lilypie Maternity tickers

14 weeks

14Weeks:

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!! I turned 31 yrs old today. This week we start telling people we are pregnant...so I will make sure to announce when everyone knows so that people can finally do facebook and myspace comments!!!

Symptoms this last week: fuzzy belly-not that dark line though. and fuzzy face, actually I'm just fuzzier all over! The naps are almost gone and I'm staying up past 9pm--I'm such a BIG GIRL now! Occasional upset stomach but nothing to bad, well minus Indian food. And I have two appetites---alot NOW or nothing. My stomach is not getting a bump -however the lower part is feeling full and is getting harder so I think a bump can happen any day now! As you will see in the pictures I do have some post-Indian food bloat going on, but my jeans are still lose and I have to wear a belt.

Weight gain (148lbs starting): -8lbs (140lbs)---"they" say I should now be gain 1lb a week...guess we will see.

Cravings: Oranges, Sour Candies, guacamole (haven't found any yet)

How Big is the Baby at Fourteen Weeks Pregnant?
Your baby may be anywhere from 3.2 to a little over 4 inches long by pregnancy week 14, and likely weighs close to one ounce! Every day of your pregnancy week by week your baby is growing more and more proportional.

Your Baby's Growth and Development
By pregnancy 14 weeks your baby's body is growing quite rapidly. During pregnancy week 14 his length is catching up with his slightly larger head. The ears have started their move to the sides of the head, and the eyes continue to get closer and closer together.
During pregnancy week 14 your baby's neck will elongate, and the chin will start to rise up off the chest. Your baby's reflexes will also continue to develop this week. By pregnancy 14 weeks your baby should be receiving their nutrition directly from the placenta.
