First ever OPK
Today I peed on a stick (POAS). I peed on my first ovulation prediction kit (OPK) its not really a kit its a stick and a small one at that. So I learned from friends its best to pee in a cup and dip the stick in it, instead of peeing on it (would have been nice to know that one sooner!). Also that I shouldn't do first morning urine (FMU), that I should do 2 pm urine-after holding it for 2hrs. And also once I start getting a faint line to test twice a day so not to miss anything. So tomorrow I will put all my new knowledge to the test. This is a picture of a big fat negative (BFN) test. Meaning I am not ovulating in the next couple days, which is good since Troy is still in China and it would be hard to make a baby without him.
A positive test is not one that has a line, but one that the second line is as dark as the control. I will keep the strips and make progressive strip pictures so you can see what is suppose to happen with them. In this picture you see a dark control line but nothing for a second line.
